In a recent Attorney at Work article, Michael Mogill, President of Crisp Video Group, shared some valuable tips for using video to help your law firm “stand out from the pack, build client confidence, connect emotionally, or simply attract and convert new viewers into clients.”
Here are a few tips from his list:
- Upload Your Videos to YouTube: “YouTube is the second-largest search engine on the web and it’s owned by the number one search engine on the web, Google.” Be sure to use your law firm name and keywords in the title, description and tags to help potential clients find your video.
- Use Videos in Your Blog: “Embedding videos in your website’s blog is another great way to reach your audience in an engaging way, and attract inbound leads through organic search results.” Mr. Mogill suggests adding video content to existing blog content will help hold your audience’s attention and improve your search rankings.
- Add Video to Email Signatures: “A professional email signature that includes video can provide the extra nudge potential clients need to hire you.” This video should give a human touch to your email and hold on to the recipient’s attention.

Video can be a lawyer’s most powerful marketing tool. As Mr. Mogill states, “Creating compelling videos and using them consistently across all the online platforms you use to market your firm will lead to greater exposure for your services.”
