Gaining a client’s trust is important when representing them. Not only is it important when taking on their case but it can be useful for obtaining referrals. Clients who have had a positive experience with your law firm are likely to refer their family or friends.
According to Attorneyatwork.com, here are a few ways you can earn a client’s trust:
- Be Honest.
Be honest with your client. Own up to mistakes you make in their case right away. Let them know how you plan on fixing the mistake you made in their case. Be upfront with your client on the possible outcomes with their case including the bad.
- Be a Resource.
Let your client know right away if you can take on their case. If you can’t take on the case, consider referring them to another law firm that could take them on. Be a legal source to them even if you can’t take their case.
