Advocate Capital Inc.’s Team Hope partnered up with The Injury Board for their annual IB Day of Action.
This year’s focus was helping those who are impacted by Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia. Nearly 5.7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease and November is National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month. We were surprised at the number of people who are living with Alzheimer’s and were ready to help those in need.
Team Hope decided to get involved this year by volunteering at Brookdale Belle Meade. We decided to get crafty with the residents of Brookdale Belle Meade by making a turkey windsock craft with them.
We had a great time with the residents. We worked together to glue feathers, construction paper, and ribbon on recycled soup cans.
We chatted about their plans for Thanksgiving and what they enjoyed most about the upcoming holiday season.
We are so grateful that we could team up with the Injury Board again this year to volunteer. The Injury Board is an association of experienced attorneys who are determined to help anyone needing legal assistance because of a personal injury or other civil litigation matters.
