According to LexBlog, a law firm blog is a great way to boost your organic reach online and build your online presence. Here are a few tips they suggest to help your law firm blog:
- Publish Often.
Publishing blogs more often will get you more traffic on your website. According to The Rainmaker Blog, research shows that companies that blog 16 times or more a month get 3.5 times as much traffic compared to companies that post only a couple times a month.
- Focus on content not length.
Posting longer content does not necessarily mean you will receive more blog views. Posting shorter blog content is okay but length shouldn’t be the focus of your blog content. Make sure you are publishing blog content relevant to your firm and your readers. Your viewers will be happier if you have content, they like reading even if it is shorter.
- Incorporate older posts.
Promoting older content online is a great way to reach new and existing blog readers. Some of the ways to use your old blog posts are:
- Update and republish – new laws or updates to a case might have happened since you published your original blog post. Update your blog post and relaunch it on your website and social media.
- Promote on social media– use older blogs that did well in the past and share them on your firm’s social media. You can also use promotions on social media that would reach new readers as well.
