Debating whether or not to add a Frequently Asked Questions page to your law firm’s website? Then consider the many benefits it can have on your online marketing strategy. Victoria Blute of LawLytics says a FAQ page not only serves as a valuable tool for potential and existing clients, but it adds relevant, trustworthy content to your firm’s website and can boost your visibility on the web.
We all know that some potential clients turn to search engines to research a firm or to learn more about their case or problem, while other potential web visitors may not even know they need to hire an attorney. Blute says having a FAQ page will increase the likelihood of someone finding you in their search. Yet, to increase your chances, she suggests using specific keywords and phrases in your FAQs that mirror the type of questions a potential client would ask.
Once a web visitor arrives at your site, Blute says FAQ pages can be an extra incentive for them to contact you. Unlike any one particular section of your website that goes in-depth on one topic or service, a FAQ page can provide a wealth of information all in one place. It makes it easier for a potential client to learn about your firm and expertise, building a bond of trust before they even contact you.
Blute says a FAQ page may also boost productivity and business at your law firm. Being transparent about timelines, fees or what goes along with an office visit, can counter issues that arise with a potential client with unrealistic expectations. She says a FAQ page addresses their questions early on, saving time not only for you, but for all the clients you will soon reach.
