During the pandemic, businesses, including law firms, had to find new ways to meet client needs and continue growing relationships with clients. According to Jennifer Carr's Attorneyatwork.com article, here are a few ways you can work to meet your clients' needs:
Feedback
Prioritize client feedback and ensure you can find an easy way to track feedback. You can regularly ask clients how you and your firm can provide services better for them. Keep track of what clients need in an excel spreadsheet or another type of document. Review the concerns your clients present to you with your team monthly or quarterly. Brainstorm ways your team can improve your current system and plan how to implement these changes.
When you make changes suggested by a client, let them know. Send them a card or gift in the mail to thank them for their honesty and let them know how you are grateful they are your client.
Provide Resources and Solutions
We all need different resources and solutions since the start of the pandemic. Showing that you and your firm can be flexible, provide information, and find custom client solutions shows how much you care. Clients want to do business with people.
Find opportunities to host webinars, produce videos, or write articles about valuable resources to your client. Sharing resources that can be helpful to clients shows your legal expertise as well.
Find solutions to client problems so you can better serve them. Be flexible on meeting via a phone call, social distancing, or a video conference. Ask clients what is the best way for them to meet with you to discuss their legal needs. Ensure that you can meet those needs by discussing their legal requirements and any other problems they discuss.
