“Huddle” is a well-known term meaning crowding together. We’ve seen it take place at many sporting events, whether it be the pre-game time pep talk or a strategy discussion at half time. But have you ever thought of putting that term into effect at your firm?
Our friends over at The Vista Consulting Team explain why they think having team huddles could work well for office morality in a recent article on their website.
- Keeps the energy up. No one looks forward to a boring discussion that seems tedious rather than interesting. Add some fun to the discussion! Have a few people come up and speak about the great results they had gotten for their clients or a success story that they were a part of! Leaving the huddle on a positive note will have everyone in high spirits and ready to take on the work week.
- Don’t be afraid to make changes. It’s hard to find a method that works for everyone when it comes to huddles. Be open to suggestions with each huddle and don’t be afraid to make tweaks to them based off these suggestions as the huddles continue.
Here at Advocate Capital, Inc. we find huddles to work well and think The Vista Consulting Team’s article has some great points!
