Social Media is a great way to help your law firm find new customers, connect with clients, and overall market your business, but being on the right platform is essential.
Looking to the future, as Generation Z enters the workforce and will soon become potential customers, your firm needs to stay ahead of social media trends. Social Media Today reveals that Pinterest is the most rapidly growing social media site, behind Facebook and Facebook-owned Instagram.
It is not time to jump ship from Facebook just yet. As Lawyer Marketing explains, Facebook is currently the best site to reach customers. According to Sprout, Facebook has the highest percentage of use among the most age ranges. Even though it was created by millennials, it is being used by over 60% of Baby Boomers and 78% of Gen Xers.
While your firm can benefit heavily from targeted ads, other social media sites may gain more organic attention. Lawyer Marketing suggests experimenting with sites such as Instagram and Pinterest, or other new sites that will begin to pop up in the near future, because they aren’t fully monetized yet, so it is cheap and easy to try them out.
The key is to be flexible and keep your eye on the trends. If you at least try out the latest up and coming social media sites, your company can benefit from increased online viewership and you’ll be ready for an online shift in the years to come.
