Juggling holiday activities and end of the year projects can be stressful and make it hard to enjoy the holidays.
According to Attorneyatwork.com, here are some ways to keep your stress in check during the holiday season:
Check Your Calendar.
Make sure you have your calendar up to date. This is an easy way to make your life less stressful. Mark everything on your schedule from kids off from school, shortened work hours, family visiting, and court closings. Having your calendar electronically or written down is an easy way to stay on top of everything.
Check on Your Clients.
The holiday season can also be stressful for your clients. Set aside time to call, email, or grab coffee with your clients. Your clients know you are busy and will appreciate you spending the time to check in on them during the holiday season.
Take a Step Back.
Carve out some days or even half days for yourself and put them on your calendar. These can be days off work to relax or to prepare for the holiday season. This time can include shopping for holiday gifts, getting ahead of your to do list, or just time for yourself to be away from the office.
