Social media can be a valuable tool for your law firm if you create a strategy and implement it. Stefanie Marrone, legal marketing and business development consultant shared tips for boosting your firm's social media presence in a recent article for LexBlog.
Consistency is a key factor in your firm's social media success. According to Marrone, social media algorithms favor accounts that post a few times each week. Creating a content schedule can help with this so you are not scrambling to think of posts last-minute.
Marrone also suggests developing a balance between evergreen and timely posts. Evergreen posts are about topics that will always be relevant to your audience. Timely posts involve dates or trending topics that require them to be posted in a certain time frame so they will not become irrelevant.
Another tip Marrone gives is to "share an inspiring story or lesson learned." People connect best with real people and emotions so use your social media content to tell stories that will engage your audience and keep them coming back.
