The Chaffin Luhana Foundation Hands Out Over 10,000 Sandwiches

Our friend and client, Eric Chaffin of Chaffin Luhana LLP, recently handed out 10,000 sandwiches with his nonprofit organization, the Chaffin Luhana Foundation.

Eric and his team knew they wanted to help those impacted by COVID-19. Their thoughts immediately shifted to children who rely on school-provided lunch.

With stay-at-home orders in place and – at that time – uncertainty about whether school meals would still be provided, the Chaffin Luhana Foundation sprang into action, calling on national and local vendors to help bring the program to fruition.

Through a custom-created drive-through, volunteers handed out more than 10,000 sandwiches, bags of chips and cartons of milk – all in about two hours.

Since the March 23rd event, the Foundation hasn’t stopped, launching 10kSandwiches.org – an official platform for the program. Its goal is to engage other businesses and nonprofits to work cooperatively with the general public to do the particular good deeds that are needed and empower people to create hope for the future.
