Team Claggett & Sykes Awarded for Philanthropic Work

Advocate Capital Inc. congratulates our friend and client, Sean Claggett, of Claggett & Sykes Law Firm, for receiving multiple awards for his philanthropic work.

Recently, Vegas Inc. awarded Sean and his team the Angel Award in the Philanthropic SME Business of the Year category. The Angel Awards acknowledge individuals and businesses’ extensive charitable and philanthropic work across southern Nevada. The Angel Award recognizes Sean for his philanthropy in supporting community outreach programs over the past 20+ years.

Sean and his team at Claggett & Sykes passionately support several agencies through their partnership, donations, and volunteer work. Some charities include The Just One Project, the Shannon West Homeless Youth Center, and the Boys & Girls Clubs. The Just One Project’s mission is to build a stronger, healthier, and more connected community through volunteerism while increasing access to food and services. The Shannon West Homeless Youth Center’s mission is to help youth overcome barriers and attain self-sufficiency through direct services, training, and referral to community resources.

Sean encourages all plaintiff injury attorneys to give back to their communities through philanthropy, pro bono, and volunteer work. Sean says of his generosity, “One good deed to one person can result in 10 good deeds to 10 other people, and the more we all work at doing good for others, the community becomes a beautiful place.” He encourages his team to take paid time off to volunteer monthly at a charity of their choice.

In addition to the Angel Award, Sean received the Nevada Legal Services 2022 Champion of Justice award. The award recognized Sean for his Pro Bono work to ensure all Nevadans have access to justice.

Advocate Capital, Inc. is proud and inspired by Sean and the team of Claggett & Sykes as they fight for justice for their clients while working to support & enrich their local communities!
