Building a personal brand for you and your firm can be time-consuming and overwhelming. You want to create a brand that represents you but also grabs the attention of prospects and referral sources. According to Jay Harrington’s Attorneyatwork.com article, here are some ways you can build your branding and grab the attention of your audience:
Collaborate
Create a podcast, webinar, video, or write articles with attorneys you admire. Try to work with attorneys who have a significant social media presence to help spread the word about your expertise. Ensure the content you create with them will be on a reputable site- a third-party educational site or your firm's website. Having the content on a reputable site besides just posted on social media will allow you to reuse the content for email blasts or share it with prospects when they have questions about your expertise.
Platform
Ensure you are active online with social media and have a website for you and your law firm. Have at least one or two social media profiles that you have a significant following before expanding to other platforms.
Build your social media platform to help you build your branding. Having a platform you regularly post on will help you have consistent followers, and you’ll be on top of mind because of how often you post content.
Consistently posting will also help you collaborate with other attorneys or referral sources.
