Our team recently attended the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) Women in Law Conference in Huntington Beach. For the conference, CAALA invited attendees to donate gently used women's professional clothing to the non-profit Clothes the Deal.
The non-profit Clothes the Deal is an organization that provides clothing to low-income people who need it for interviews or their new workplace. The organization has struggled with funding over the last few years due to the pandemic and grants allocated to other non-profits.
Clothes the Deal has served over 90,000 people in the last 25 years to help men, women, and youth become financially independent.
Our team was amazed at the work the non-profit does daily and all they have accomplished over the last 25 years!
We didn't have enough room in our suitcases to bring clothing to donate to the non-profit, so our team decided to make a monetary donation.
We are thankful for CAALA letting us know about the non-profit and the opportunity to donate to Clothes the Deal!
