According to Kate Gibson of CBS News, a class action lawsuit has been filed against Lands’ End after a Delta employee claims they developed health issues from the uniforms made by the clothing company.
Delta employees reported skin irritation, rashes, fatigue, and difficulty breathing after the uniforms were introduced.
Gibson reports that two other Delta flight attendants, who also filed a proposed class-action against Lands’ End, claimed that, “chemicals used to make the uniform material waterproof, anti-static, deodorizing and wrinkle- and stain-resistant were causing allergic and other reactions.”
Delta stated they conducted a study on the uniforms that confirm that the uniforms “…meet the highest textile standards…”
