Have you ever wanted to change the case of the text in your spreadsheet? For example, change upper case to lower case or vice versa?
Did you know there is an Excel function that will do this for you?
Let’s say you have a column of data that has the state abbreviations, but they are all in lower case. To convert them to upper case, find a new column in the spreadsheet and key in the function “=upper(A2)”. A2 is the cell that contains the lower case information. Click enter and then copy and paste this formula down.
You can also convert upper case to lower case using the function “=lower().”
We love feedback from our customers and implement suggestions often. What shortcut do you use the most? If you have a question or idea for a Microsoft Windows or an Excel tip that you would like to see, comment below, and I might feature it! Like this post if you have ever used this feature, and tell me what you’ve used it for!
