A couple of weeks ago Facebook introduced the arrival of its new “Graph Search”. It is currently in the early trial stages but has the potential to be the best thing since the “Like” button. The Graph Search will be taking social influence to a whole new level by using the data that people have chosen to share and making it searchable.
So what does this mean for your law firm? Put yourself in the shoes of a consumer. Let’s say you needed to find a personal injury lawyer in your local area. Would you…
- Want to find someone randomly out of a phone book?
- Choose the top listing in a Google search?
- Choose someone that your friends or family have used?
More than likely you would choose option “3”. So now, when someone is on Facebook, instead of searching “personal injury lawyers” a consumer will now be able to search “personal injury lawyers that my friends use”.
It goes without saying; your law firm’s Facebook page is more valuable than ever.
