LinkedIn can be an essential social media platform for lawyers to connect with other legal and non-legal professionals. Creating relevant content that reflects you and your firm can be challenging. According to Jay Harrington’s Attorneyatwork.com article, here are some ways to create content that resonates with your audience:
Tell Stories
Share content that tells stories about your success and even your failures. You can also share content about clients and their struggles and the victories you obtained for them.
Sharing content that is more than just informational will stand out to your LinkedIn connections. The majority of people on LinkedIn only share their work anniversaries or other professional milestones. When people share content outside of that, it stands out, and you will be more memorable to your connections.
Pay Attention
See who is interacting with your LinkedIn content and consider how you can make it better. If you share a post and don’t receive much interaction, consider why people did not interact with your post. Review your LinkedIn content post engagement weekly or even monthly to evaluate and see how you can improve your posts.
Interact with your connections posts and see what the majority of your peers are sharing. You don’t need to share the same content as your connections, but it could help your content to evaluate their post that is doing well.
