The pandemic has made a large impact on our society. Lawyers are facing many challenges from working remotely to fighting for justice on behalf of their clients.
According to Public Justice, corporate defendants are taking advantage of these changes to delay or stall litigation.
Public Justice and other organizations like Marshall Project and the National Center for State Court, are working hard to provide plaintiff attorneys with updated information on how the court systems are functioning.
They currently have up to date information for states such as Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, and Minnesota (to name a few). Public Justice also has a list of federal orders and new rules that have come into play since the pandemic has hit.
