Each year on November 11th, we honor all American veterans for their willingness to serve our country. We recognize and appreciate all of the sacrifices that they made.
Veterans Day began in 1919 a year after the ending of World War I. It was originally called “Armistice Day” to mark the temporary cease in hostilities that took place between Germany and the Allied Nations in 1918 on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
President Eisenhower officially changed the name to Veterans Day in 1954.
We would like to thank all the American veterans who served and protected our country. These brave men and women served to protect our freedoms and rights in this country. Join us in honoring them today and every day of the year.
