You never get a second chance at making a first impression. In today’s competitive legal marketplace, the importance of making a positive first impression is even more important.
You might have your bases covered like having a website and someone who answers the phones, but it might not be enough for a positive first impression.
Check out some of these tips and suggestions from Lawyer Marketing:
- Online Reviews.
Look at your Google My Business Listing and your Avvo profile. Try to check your online reviews often. Prospective clients are researching firms including looking at reviews when deciding on what law firm they want to work with. Look at your positive and negative reviews. If you have a negative review, consider responding. Also, if you have many negative online reviews consider how you can change procedures at your firm to ensure clients have a positive experience.
- Strategize Your Online Presence.
Where can prospective clients find you online? Consider easy ways for potential clients to find your firm online. Do you have a website and an active social media presence? If you have a website but not an active social media presence, consider how you can change that. Start small by posting on Facebook or Instagram once a week and be consistent. While examining your social media presence ensure that your website and online profiles have the same branding.
