It can be difficult to constantly come up with ideas for articles to post on your firm’s website. You might feel like you have some writer’s block and can’t come up with something you feel passionate about.
According to Attorneyatwork.com, here are some areas you can look at when you aren’t sure what to write:
- The News.
Turn on your local news channel or check out your favorite news outlet website. Are they discussing anything that interests you or your clients? Try reading a few articles about topics you care about like employment law or arbitration.
- Comment Section.
If you post your articles on sites like LinkedIn or a newsletter does your audience have anything to say? Let their engagement with your content inspire what you write next. You might even want to update an old article you wrote that many people seemed interested in. Find a way to update the article with new information or even reword some of your phrases.
- Your Email.
Questions from colleagues or clients is a great resource to consider. Think about the types of topics that are coming up in your exchanges. What are questions you are often receiving from clients or your peers? It might not be about particular laws, but it might include topics like miscommunication or client management.
