I recently participated in my first zoom meeting that used breakout rooms. What a cool feature! Zoom.us offers a great tutorial that shows you how to take advantage of this tool.
Navigate to www.zoom.us and click the Resources drop-down. Select Video Tutorials. In the first section, Zoom Meetings and Webinars, navigate to the tutorial named Breakout Rooms.
To enable breakout rooms, you must first log into your zoom account online and go to Settings. Select Meeting, then In Meeting (advanced). Enable the option for Breakout Rooms.
Now, when you are hosting a meeting, you will have an option for Breakout rooms. Clicking the button will allow you to identify how many rooms you want and who you want to place in those rooms.
Breakout Rooms are an excellent tool for trainers, presenters, and facilitators. They offer a great alternative to breaking out into groups like you would if you were in a large class or conference. We’ve used them to play team-building games, as well!

We love feedback from our customers and implement suggestions often. If you have a question or ideas for a blog, let me know! I might write about it!
