Finding new ways to grow your law firm business can be difficult.
According to Tom McMakin’s article for Attorney at Work, many lawyers should be asking themselves how they can cultivate relationships with people who could become clients.
Here are some ways to grow your law firm business according to Attorneyatwork.com:
- One-on-One Conversations.
Have one-on-one conversations with the potential clients you are hoping to serve. Understanding what their needs are can help you know what legal services you can offer them.
- More Listening.
When meeting with a potential client focus on listening instead of talking. Many lawyers often want to go into problem solving right away, but let the person you’re meeting with do most of the talking. Ask thoughtful questions and take time to respond to the person you are meeting with.
