Did you know that you can filter your email much like you can filter data in Microsoft Excel? The Filter Email function can identify all unread messages or all messages that have attachments, to list a couple.
Let’s say, for example, that you are looking for a specific email and you know that it was sent yesterday. Go to Filter Email in the Find section of your Home tab. Select the small drop down arrow next to it. Go down to This week and then select Yesterday. You will now only see emails that were sent yesterday.
Note: Make sure you are in the appropriate folder. If you are looking for an email that was sent yesterday, but you already deleted it, you will need to filter your email in the deleted folder.
We love feedback from our customers and implement suggestions often. What shortcut do you use the most? If you have a question or idea for a Microsoft Windows or Excel tip that you would like to see, let me know and I might write about it!
