An attorney bio is a great way to let prospective clients know more about yourself professionally as an attorney but also personally. Most attorneys write their bio and never update it. Updating your bio regularly-can help keep your bio authentic and more relevant.

Here are a few of the steps you can take, according to her article:
- Lose overused phrases.
Try to not use commonly used phrases in your attorney bio. Some of the phrases to stay away from include “practice focuses on”, “he/she is uniquely qualified” and “handles a variety of complex…” are just some of the common phrases you should avoid.
- Think About Frequently Asked Questions.
Find ways to incorporate answers to questions your clients or prospective clients often ask. Think about either something about why you started practicing personal injury law or why you started your own firm.
