How does a video help my law firm?
Videos are a great way to get your firm name out there. Potential clients are more likely to stop and watch a one-minute video than they are to read a few sentences on social media.
A video about your firm is also a great way for potential clients to see a face associated with your firm. Having you or other members of your firm in the video humanizes you and makes someone more likely to go with your firm over someone else’s.
Make it quick.
The key to using videos is making sure they are short. The reason for using short videos is that people on social media, especially Facebook, have short attention spans.
According to Facebook, having a fifteen second or less video is the best way to have engagement. Fifteen seconds is not a lot of time, but this video is a way to grab your potential client’s attention.
You can utilize this time with a quick about us on your firm or your firm values. You don’t have to completely convince someone to go with your firm but using a video makes you memorable compared to other firms.
Make it an ad.
You might think your work is over after you make your video and upload it to Facebook. But you can do more than just upload your video!
Promoting your video on Facebook allows you to have people see your video that would be more likely to use your firm. By promoting your video as an ad, it reaches people who might normally not see something you would post.
