Great marketing is all about planning! Many different digital systems can help you plan, but sometimes getting it down on paper helps manage your marketing plan every day. According to Bull Garlington’s Attorneyatwork.com article, here are a few ways you can utilize a planner for marketing your law firm.
Consider having an undated planner to help you to capture your ideas. This way, you can start planning how to market your firm at any time of the year.
A planner isn’t complete without a to-do list. Create your to-do list with bullet points. Consider using different symbols, highlighters, or pens to organize the different points of each of your marketing projects. Consider creating a system that includes if a project is complete, a priority, scheduled, or postponed.
On your to-do list, break out each aspect of the marketing project. Being concise and thorough will help you ensure you don’t miss any parts of your marketing project. For example, you don’t want to share about an upcoming webinar your law firm is hosting but not share the link so people can sign up to attend. Writing out each part of the project that needs to be completed might seem silly, but it’ll help you stay on task and feel accomplished seeing how far you have come on a project.
Have a section of your planner where you can make notes. This section can allow you to write ideas you have during the day or suggestions from your team. Review your notes and make follow-up tasks at the end of each day.
