According to the 2018 Thomson Reuters Consumer Legal Needs Survey, 27% of respondents said they learned about a lawyer from social media.
Consumers including those needing legal services are using social media as part of their research process when finding a lawyer.
As Instagram is continuing to grow it is a great way for potential clients to get to know you. Here are a few reasons to use Instagram to market your firm:
Potential clients want a lawyer or firm that they can relate to. Posting pictures of fun things happening at the office or spotlighting employees is a great way for potential clients to get to know your firm. Having a face to put to a firm humanizes your firm.

Having a presence on Instagram can be easier than most social media sites. Instagram’s set up does not require you posting a few times a day or even every day. Make sure how often you post on the social media site is consistent if it’s three times a week, every day, or even once a week.
