Meijer Greek Yogurt has voluntarily recalled their product due to the potential of glass particles in the yogurt. Bob Strickley with The Cincinnati Enquirer, explains that this all began when a customer returned their Meijer Greek yogurt containing two small pieces of glass inside of the container.
The FDA released a statement saying, “Upon investigation at the retailer’s manufacturing facility, there may have been a possible risk of contamination.”
The product was sold in Meijer stores located in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin. There are six flavors of yogurt that customers are being advised to throw away or return for full refund due to this recall.
