Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001; a day that forever changed our nation. We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the attacks and extend our deepest thoughts to the families and friends who continue to carry their memory forward.
We also pay tribute to the first responders, including the firefighters, police officers, medical personnel, and countless others, who rushed into danger to save lives. Their courage and selflessness remain an enduring reminder of the best of humanity during one of our darkest moments.
In addition to the immediate devastation, many survivors and first responders continue to face serious health challenges caused by exposure at Ground Zero, including 9/11-related cancers and respiratory illnesses. Their battles are ongoing, and our gratitude belongs not only to them but also to the advocates and trial lawyers who fight tirelessly to ensure these individuals receive the care, support, and justice they deserve.
At Advocate Capital, we join the nation in remembrance and reflection. We honor the victims, we thank the heroes, and we stand with the survivors who continue to persevere.
