At Advocate Capital, we know that strong teams are built not only through hard work and a shared mission, but also through meaningful time spent together. Recently, our marketing team hosted a fun outdoor event to help the Advocate Capital team kick off the summer season with good food, friendly competition, and great conversation.
The afternoon featured a corn hole tournament, where team members brought their competitive spirit and plenty of laughs. Whether players were showing off impressive throws or cheering on their coworkers from the sidelines, the event created an atmosphere full of energy and camaraderie. Congratulations to Bryan Shorthouse and Nick Romeo, who took home the championship title.
No summer gathering would be complete without delicious food. The team enjoyed a meal from Martin’s BBQ, giving everyone the opportunity to relax, connect, and enjoy some classic Southern barbecue together.
Beyond the games and food, the event provided valuable time for coworkers from different departments to catch up, share stories, and strengthen relationships outside of the office setting.
